    Quick Tip Thursday #2!

On this week's Quick Tip Thursday, we talk how to flatten uneven cakes the easy way! Some of you may have noticed that I've been baking quite a few cakes as of late, which led me to this week's quick tip! My cakes usually come out nice and flat, but sometimes they're not as even as I'd like for them to be. Sure, you can slice off the uneven part, but it can be difficult to get it nice and flat, and let's face it, who wants to put less cake in their cakes? So if your cake has come out of the oven a little uneven, the easiest way to flatten it back out is to turn it out (uneven side down) on your cooling rack and gently press it down using a hotpad. If you do this right out of the oven, it'll flatten out quite nicely. Problem solved!

    Happy baking!
