    Quick Tip Thursday #3!

    QTT3

Raise your hand if you enjoy cleaning out dirty piping bags. No hands? That's what I thought. Cleaning out my piping bags is always my least favorite part of baking! Sure, you can use disposable bags, but it's always felt kind of wasteful to me to constantly be tossing bags unless I really need to. Enter the plastic wrap trick! It's not a particularly new or novel idea, but if you haven't heard of it before, get ready to have your frosting experience revolutionized (viva la frosting revolution!)! Simply tear off a large piece of plastic wrap, spoon a thick line of frosting onto the plastic wrap, roll it up, twist the ends, and then drop it in your piping bag! Trim the end of the plastic wrap so it's not sticking out through the tip, and voila! Easy peasy piping bag cleaning! If you want to see a quick tutorial on how to do this, check out Lindsay Ann Bakes' tutorial here.

So glad you found it helpful! If there's one thing you don't need when baking, it's another thing to wash! 🙂
