I'm just going to say what we've all been thinking: There's just something about this magical time of year that's SO. DARN. STRESSFUL.

Maybe it's the Pinterest-worthy decoration expectations. Or that upcoming family meal where you're expected to serve three courses to a group of 10. Or maybe it's the pack of relatives who will be dropping by in a few days expecting a clean home, fresh sheets to sleep in and that you'll be wearing adult pants and a bra when they arrive.

Whatever it is, there's certainly no shortage of stress this time of year.

    And something's gotta give.

In my household, that something ended up being cookies.

You see, writing a dessert blog has given me a bit of a reputation with my family and friends, and gone are the days when I could show up to a function with store-bought treats. Hell, even the book club I just joined, with a slew of people I'd never met before, asked where the homemade cakes were when I showed up with a carton of store-bought hummus and a bag of chips.

So over the past couple of years, I've worked on streamlining my holiday cookie making process. We're talking maximum amount of delicious cookie goodness in as little time as possible.

The end result: A fine-tuned process that allow me to turn out 90 cookies (in 7 varieties) in under 3 hours.

That's all of my holiday baking for the month of December in a time frame short enough to tackle on a weeknight if I have to.

This is my "I only spent three hours baking these" happy face. ⬇️

And because none of us needs yet another thing to do this holiday season, I'm sharing that process in my free guide: Stress-Free Holiday Baking.
